NBA superstar Stephen Curry has a very special gift to his mom this Mother’s Day – the Curry 2 Mother’s Day edition – which was inspired by her love to him.
Under Armour released Curry 2 Mother’s Day edition. The model is Curry’s tribute to his mother, Sonya, for “her unwavering love and support.” The Curry 2 Mother’s Day special comes in Light Grey, Black and Pink color combination.
For her unwavering love and support. Here’s to your Nº1 fan.

Sneaker Files wrote the base of the kicks is done in Grey which incorporates an outline that looks like pink roses. In addition, Pink accent can be seen on the top eyelets, SC branding, and on the outsole of the shoe. Accents of black dominates the midsole, while more black are seen on the eye stays, inner lining and distinctive logo across its quarter panels. To complete the mother-theme design, a pink outsole is added, Kicks on Fire noted.

The Source noted that it is not suprising that Curry and Under Armour have decided to release a “Mother’s Day” edition of the Curry 2 since the Golden State Warriors superstar has been known to be very close to his family. The Curry family is always in attendance in Stephen’s game whether it’s the regular season, playoffs or finals, The Source added.
Meanwhile, ESPN reported that Curry may probably don’t play for the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals at Portland on Saturday since he still has not practiced on his sprained right knee.
“It’s tough to see him playing Saturday. He’s gotten better and better each day,” coach Steve Kerr said.
Curry returned from an ankle injury but got injured his knee on April 24 when he slipped on a wet spot just before halftime of Warrior’s game against Houston.
