Cristiano Ronaldo stormed out of a press conference after a journalist asked him about his pathetic away record in matches this season.

Ronaldo hasn’t scored a single away goal since November 29, 2015 when he scored at Eibar. Ahead of Real Madrid’s first away leg match with Roma, a journalist dared to question his goal scoring record.

“Why has it been more difficult to score away from home?” the reporter asked an immediately annoyed Ronaldo, according to FOX Sports.

Ronaldo is an all-time top scorer in the Champions League with 88 goals, and became the only player to score 10 goals in the group stages of the competition and his 11 group stage goals are a record. Seemingly annoyed at the journalist’s question, Ronaldo said:

“Who else has scored more goals away from home than me since I arrived in Spain? Name one player who has scored more than me. No answer? OK. Thank you,” he said before he walked out of the press conference.

The reporter continued to ask his question, but he got no response from the Real Madrid front man.

Ronaldo was entertained with the same tone of questions throughout the press conference and he was seemingly frustrated at them for quite a while.

“It’s understandable that people have doubts,” Ronaldo said earlier according to BBC. “It’s like with a son when you give him everything and then when you take it away, he cries. I hope that I can keep this ‘bad form’ up until the season’s end.”

Ronaldo will be looking to answer his critics when Real Madrid faces AS Roma in the first leg of their knockout phase contest. They are high from a fantastic 4-2 win over Athletic Bilbao over the weekend in La Liga.

He has also committed to respect his two years left on his Real Madrid contract, after speculations surrounding his imminent transfer were being circulated.
