After more than a month of anticipation, fans of the beloved Jennifer Jareau (A.J. Cook) can now breathe a sigh of relief because JJ is back! More so, fans are not the only ones happy with her return because the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is certainly celebrating the return of their colleague.

In a sneak peek video released by TV Guide, JJ is welcomed by the team with open arms, fancy gifts (old-fashioned Reid steals the show with those stacks of books) and a new decoration for her desk. Although Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) and Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) are all energies for the small party, the fun is cut short when JJ realizes that Morgan and Hotch are on serious “debriefing” mode.

Design and Trend also relays the synopsis of the upcoming episode as a turning point when the BAU starts to face the major villain of season 11, the “dirty dozen.” According the report, Giuseppe Montolo (Robert Dreary), who had an encounter with the BAU  at the beginning of the season, will die in prison–but not before he warns Morgan once again of the underground group of hitmen.

Also, the episode will be packed with another mystery as Rossi’s daughter Joy Struthers (Amber Stevens) will seek the help of the BAU to find a missing college student in an apparent abduction by another twisted UnSub.

With JJ’s return from maternity leave, what could this mean for Dr. Tara Lewis’ (Aisha Tyler) character? Cinema Blend reports that the show has high hopes in keeping Tyler as long as possible on the show. However, as the report also mentions, the actress has other commitments like in “Whose Line is it Anyway?” so hopes of her being promoted to series regular may remain just a hope for now.

Fans can enjoy JJ’s return by tuning in to the seventh episode of Criminal Minds Season 11 titled ‘Target Rich’, which airs on Wednesday, 9 p.m. at CBS.
