Levante is all set to host Espanyol at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia in Spain in the fourth round of their Copa Del Rey Cup campaign. The match is scheduled for today, Dec. 3, Thursday and will start at 8PM local time.

According to All Sports News, both teams are looking forward to kick start their respective campaign in the tournament. Espanyol who are at a higher league position in the La Liga will take every measure to avoid a loss against Levante. They will be happy with a draw as their home games are scheduled to start soon.

The hosts, Levante, are narrow favorites as they will bank on home advantage to start their campaign on a positive note. The odds are also in their favor but a possible draw might be on the cards too.

The source quotes, “An added bonus this week would be an away goal – something that would fail to surprise considering the form of Hernan Perez and Felipe Caicedo. Both players have scored four goals apiece this season, and are due to start this Thursday’s match against Levante.”

Levante had a tragic start to their La Liga campaign as they could record only two wins from 13-games. They are right now sitting last in the La Liga table.

ASN sources also quote that “Manager Rubi will take confidence from seeing his side beat Sporting Gijon 3-0 two weeks ago in La Liga, and will be hoping leading goalscorer Deyverson can add to the two goals he scored in that match.”

Last night’s Copa Del Rey match saw Barcelona’s thumping 6-1 victory against Villanovense in the round two of the tournament. Stay tuned for more updates on the Copa Del Rey Cup.
