“Captain America: Civil War” promises an epic battle between Team Cap and Team Iron Man. But will fans already know which team wins ahead of the movie? Has “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” really spoiled the ending of the upcoming film?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a thing to behold. Events in the films and Marvel’s various TV series affect each other. “Civil War” will not hit theatres until next month.  But will we already know how it ends thanks to a “S.H.I.E.L.D.” episode summary? According to Movie Pilot, the summary for the upcoming episode “Emancipation” seems to have revealed too much.

“In the aftermath of the events of Captain America: Civil War, S.H.I.E.L.D. feels pressure to reveal their involvement with Inhumans,” the summary read. “But with the stakes higher than ever and Hive growing stronger, the team is tested in ways they could never anticipate.”

The “Emancipation” episode will air four days after “Civil War” premieres in the States. Thus, Movie Pilot says, the episode might clearly be “primed to show the fallout of the movie’s controversial ending.” Based on the “S.H.I.E.L.D.” summary, which team will likely lose? Fans are reportedly betting their money on Team Cap. According to Movie Pilot, the summary seems to suggest that Team Iron Man will win and the Sokovia Accords will be put in place. This, the movie blog points out, could be the “pressure” that S.H.I.E.L.D. feels to expose the Inhumans.

The Sokovia Accords is the US Government Act that aims to restrict and govern Avengers in “Civil War.” However, Hit Flix has cautioned against taking this speculated spoiler too seriously. When asked about it, “Civil War” writers reportedly said they had no idea what the Inhumans storyline is in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

“Captain America: Civil War” will hit the big screen on May 6.
