An image has allegedly surfaced that reveals a potential new title for the new Call of Duty game as well as a remastered edition for another COD game.
Eurogamer has the details of the said leak. An image from reservation card from Target reveals the “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” title on it, hinting that it is the next Call of Duty game. The image was posted on a thread at Reddit. It also reveals the Nov. 4 release date and will come with the Legacy Edition which will include a copy of the remastered version of “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” where the modern FPS started.
Another leak also featured “Infinite Warfare” on the PlayStation Store where Sony accidentally revealed the game in one of its tabs. Though it was quickly taken out, some managed to take a screenshot of it and was consequently shared on Reddit. With the tab taken off, it is possible that it will be revealed this May or the months that follow for a formal announcement.
When fans started asking on Activision’s official Call of Duty Twitter account if the said Modern Warfare remaster is real, the account managed to leave a witty remark of a poop and pants emoji. The reply is in reference to a certain Twitter user who tweeted the Call of Duty page in 2014 that he will poop in his pants if there would be a remastered version of “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.” This means the said rumor was, in fact, true and fans can expect a remastered version anytime soon.
“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” is still not being officially announced, but if the leaked release date is correct, fans can expect the game on Nov. 4, 2016, for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
