Bruno Mars fans may finally get a new album this year, as speculations about the Hawaii-born singer’s new LP suggest that he will release the set in November.

According to Aceshowbiz, insiders working at Mars’ label Atlantic Records have confirmed rumors that he will be dropping the project before the end of the year. The set was supposed to be out earlier, however, rehearsals for Mars’ joint Super Bowl halftime performance with Beyonce and Coldplay got in the way.

Mars was previously photographed in the studio with rapper Missy Elliott in April, fueling talks that the two will be collaborating for a single. Calling the experience “inspiring,” Elliott claimed that she was able to listen to some songs from the upcoming album, calling it “#INCREDIBLE.”

The new album will serve as the follow up to 2012’s “Unorthodox Jukebox,” which produced the No 1 hits “Locked Out of Heaven” and “When I Was Your Man.” The set debuted at No 2 in the Billboard 200 charts.

Meanwhile, the “Just The Way You Are” singer made a surprise cameo appearance in the CW show “Jane The Virgin.” He played as himself at Jane and Michael’s wedding reception and treated viewers to a stirring performance of “Rest of my Life,” Billboard reported.

“How could I be so lucky?” he sang. “I must’ve done something right/ And I promise to love her for the rest of my life.”

In the show, Jane’s father is a popular star of telenovela shows, and is known to have A-list friends, which made Mars’ guesting sensible.

The show’s star, Gina Rodriguez, thanked Mars and his girlfriend, Jessica Caban, on Twitter for being on the show.

“Thank you to my beautiful friends @BrunoMars and@JessicaCaban for coming to our wedding lol,” she posted.

The current season of “Jane The Virgin” is especially star-studded, with major music stars like Britney Spears and Kesha dropping by.
