While an argument between two Brisbane housemates turned gruesome, a man from Queensland has been charged with manslaughter. A man has died after the violent confrontation at an address in Brisbane’s east.

The two men, aged 28 and 30, received critical injuries in the incident. The older man went into an unconscious state, says SBS News.

Moments before midnight on Saturday, an arguement ensued between the two housemates. The argument led to a brutal fight at a home on Herbert Street, Brisbane.

Police arrived after the surviving housemate called authorities. According to Inspector Rob Graham, the deceased male person was found at the back of the house.

“Police and ambulances turned up and (found) one male person out the front of the house and a deceased male person at the back of the house,” Inspector Graham said.

Police questioned the surviving male person on Sunday morning. The 28-year-old suvivor was taken to a hospital for treatment.

It has been reported by 9 News that the surviving male person would be appearing in ghe Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday. Officials said that the man would be facing one count of manslaughter.
