There were speculations that 2K Games will be releasing a Collector’s Edition of the BioShock series for quite some time. Now a new info has surfaced about the collection bundle. According to a report from VG247, a certain Taiwanese gaming website that sells gaming products in Taiwan was seen posting information about a “BioShock: The Collection” package. It even shows the box art for the said bundled games.

So far there are no indications if these are actually official or are just some hoax details, but this new info has some connection with the recent leak about the BioShock collection with the Brazillian advisory rating board website that rates games that will be released in Brazil, where it was reported that this is where the rumors of a Bioshock collection was first discovered. The said collection will include the original BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.

The first two BioShock games focused on the fictional unwater city of Rapture, when the protagonist must uncover the secrets behind the abandoned city after he crash-landed near a watch tower. In the sequel you take control of a Big Daddy, an iconic creature in the BioShock series, as you follow the perspective of the said behemoth. Bioshock Infinite takes you to the floating city of Colombia, as you find clues on the whereabouts of your daughter as well as encountering Elizabeth, as she has the clues to uncover the truth behind the city and its dictator.

The reported collection package will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as for last generation consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There is no confirmation if the rumored package will feature remastered visuals for the latest consoles and PC, as the Xbox One has a backward compatibility feature that allows Xbox 360 games to be played on the latest Xbox home console.
