Destiny’s Child has been reunited.

That is, in a photo for now. Beyonce reunited with former band members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams at the latter’s birthday party over the weekend.

Rowland shared on Instagram a photo with the two and the fans’ reaction were crazy. They are demanding for a real reunion on stage.

The three ladies had some sort of reunion in March 2015, Entertainment Tonight noted. At the time, Beyonce and Rowland joined Williams for her planned appearance at the 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards. They performed “Say Yes,” a song that earned Williams a Stellar Award nomination.

A new album from the group is evidently the clamour of their fans, so why have they not released one?

According to Hollywood Life, the girls reportedly wanted to release their first album since 2006. Since Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, owns one-fourth of the band, they have been hesitant.

“Although Destiny’s Child is made up of the three ladies, Beyoncé’s father and former manager Mathew Knowles owns one-fourth of the group as well. Anytime they do anything under the name Destiny’s Child, he has involvement in it and money from it,” an insider close to the three revealed to Mail Online.

“The problem is they can’t figure out how to nix Mathew from the deal. They all want more than anything to give the fans one last run of the group, especially since they all have their own individual success, but don’t want to deal with Mathew,” the source added.

“The Destiny Fulfilled” reunion tour in 2005 grossed approximately $70.8 million in the US alone, Daily Mail noted.

Meanwhile, Beyonce recently dropped her new single “Formation.” Her latest single hit number one on Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.  Her “Formation” Tour 2016 is set to start on April 27. View dates and cities here.
