Wendy Williams has a new conspiracy theory in place. The host of “The Wendy Williams Show” revealed that Beyoncé and Jay Z must have paid Rachel Roy. She also alluded to the fact that the whole controversy might just be cooked up for album sales.
Wendy Williams believes that Beyoncé and Jay Z paid Rachel Roy to cook up the whole infidel rumours, states NY Daily News. “So Rachel Roy, first of all, you’re not this fighting girl unless you’re on Beyoncé’s and Jay Z’s payroll and they paid you to mix it up and add, for I guess, sales for the ‘Lemonade,’” said Williams.
The media personality even criticised the “Lemonade” star for not delaying her release. Williams is of the opinion that Beyoncé should have delayed the release following Prince’s death, states Daily Mail.
“Quite frankly, I wish Beyoncé had held off on the album after Prince. Like, the weekend had blown over. And Bill Cosby, don’t get beside yourself,” said Williams on her show. “Long after Prince is gone, and Beyoncé and Jay Z are still together, we are going to circle back around and still deal with you,” she added.
Rachel Roy was in the news for her Instagram post captioned, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens” According to Vox, those not in the know might just cite the whole post as a coincidence.
However, those who know, believe that the post was a dig at Beyoncé’s lyrics, which included words “He only want me when I’m not on there. He better call Becky with the good hair.” It is said that the lyrics hint at Jay Z’s affair with Roy and that Roy is the Becky from the song.
Roy has now taken down the controversial post which attracted online attacks and trolling from Beyoncé’s fans. Her Wikipedia page was messed up and she was even labelled as the ‘home wrecker’ following the post.
