Is Beyonce afraid of Adele? Reports mentioned that the R&B singer has delayed the release of her new album to give way to the British singer’s comeback album.

According to The Sun, Queen Bey has already completed her newest studio album at the end of 2015. However, she didn’t want her records to clash with Adele’s record-breaking album, “25.”  Thus, the cause of her album release delay.

A source told the site,

“Beyonce doesn’t have the pressure of releasing an album and is doing bits here and there because she and her team know it is Adele’s time to shine. The last few months have been all about her comeback.”

When Adele dropped her latest album last November, “25” broke records and was reported to be the first album to sell more than 3 million in a single week. For weeks, it has topped the Billboard 200 Chart. Recently, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” stole the top spot from Adele’s “Hello.” With that, the R&B Queen hopes to drop her sixth studio album and it could happen this coming February.

“Now Adele’s sales are starting to die down, Beyonce is ready to drop her album at any time. But there’s a very strong chance the announcement could happen during the Super Bowl next month,” the source added.

Last week, she was even spotted rehearsing at the University of South California campus. It was earlier reported that she’ll join Coldplay in the halftime show and perform “Hymn for the Weekend,” which included her vocals. Do you think she’s also rehearsing a song from her latest album?

As mentioned on The Sun, Sia, Future, Clean Bandit and Naughty Boy have been working with Queen Bey over the past two years. As such, they may be included in her album credits.

But would it be possible for her to work with Adele?

In November, Adele was rumoured to turn down a duet with Queen Bey. The British singer denied such rumours and admitted that she’ll always love the “Single Ladies” hitmaker.

For those hoping for a Beyonce-Adele collaboration, keep your fingers crossed!
