It’s already out that “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be getting an R-rated Blu-ray release, probably all thanks to “Deadpool’s” success. However, with all the news and uncertainties about the upcoming super film where the Man of Steel clashes with the Dark Knight, director Zack Snyder may be under pressure to spill out the beans already. Now, it seems like he’s letting some info seep out.

While the R-rating is already a given, fans are still hopeful that the Blu-ray copy of “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” will feature Jena Malone’s scenes. Unfortunately, she isn’t going to appear on the theatrical cut of the film, but the Blu-ray release will hopefully feature her to at least shed light on who she’s going to play. Thankfully, Snyder himself has confirmed that Malone will indeed be in the director’s cut, as well as a couple of new characters, too.

“There’s a couple, like, Ahman Green, the running back from the Green Bay Packers, he’s in it. And C.T. Fletcher is like this bodybuilder muscle-guru from Compton, this awesome guy. He’s amazing, and he’s in it. And then there’s just a lot of these Easter Eggs in the Director’s Cut that I think are gonna be fun for everyone,” said Snyder in a new article from Entertainment Weekly.

Snyder wasn’t heavy on the details about what those Easter Eggs exactly are, but he did hint that there’s a big one that will seem to play an important role in the Justice League universe.

Snyder also said that the duration of the film was his decision. “We were just like, ‘Okay, look. We’re not making a three-hour movie. I mean, even I didn’t want to make a three-hour movie. I drove the cuts probably harder than anyone. The studio, they were willing to let the movie indulge pretty hard. But I felt like it’s at a manageable two and a half hours. Let’s also not forget the credits are super long, the end credits. So the movie’s closer to two hours and 22 minutes.”

“Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” will open in theatres March 25, 2016. The film will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
