A new synopsis for the upcoming “Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice” has surfaced.

The UK theater chain Odeon Cinemas posted what may seem to be a new synopsis for the DC movie and it hinted an interesting twist involving Lex Luthor.

The synopsis goes like this:

“At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,’ an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever.

Clark Kent doesn’t trust Gotham’s mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn’t trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends.

Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question – who would win? – in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’.”

ComicBook noted that it is not clear if the synopsis comes from Warner Bros., who produces “Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” or Odeon came up with it themselves.

In comparison, the official synopsis of “Batman vs Superman” on Warner Bros. website stated:

“Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”

MovieWeb noted the twist that Lex Luthor manipulating both Batman and Superman has not been revealed before.

Though it was previously reported that Lex Luthor will have the Kryptonite and Batman will steal it from LexCorp to use against Superman, the Lex Luthor machination angle is a new one. And the details how Lex got the Kryptonite remain a mystery.

“Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice” will feature Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman) and Henry Cavill as Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman). The villainous Lex Luthor will be played by Jesse Eisenberg, while Gal Gadot will portray the role of Wonder Woman.

It also stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Scoot McNairy, Jason Momoa, and Holly Hunter.

The movie will roll in theaters on March 25, 2016.
