The Doomsday is real! And he is here to make life hell for our Superheroes. The third trailer of “Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice,” features Bruce Wayne, Clarke Kent, Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman and the big baddie Doomsday, who is this strong CGI enemy. Doomsday, according to The Daily Beast, is created when Lex Luthor spins some science on the corpse of Superman’s enemy General Zod.

While fans are divided over the fact that the trailer gave away a bit too much, Zack Snyder, director has made statements that indicate this is just the beginning. Was he setting the ground for Justice League and the ever expanding DC universe?

Snyder has hinted that the upcoming Justice League movies will also further explore Doomsday’s mythology. Movieweb quotes the director saying, “Well, you have Doomsday, right? He doesn’t just crawl out of the ground. He has his own mythology, right? So that has to be explored.” Justice League Part 1 is expected to release late next year and Part 2 in mid 2019.

Cinemablend has reported that many of the fans are miffed after watching the trailer. They admitted that it has ruined the movie for them. They feel that the trailer gave away the plot. So, was it a great idea (the feature Doomsday) so far? Or was it just a part of a bigger plan, to get the audiences excited about the Superhero universe in general?

The daily Beast reports that Snyder is not giving out more information than this and has quoted him saying, “To us it really made sense to give [Doomsday] to the audience now. I really wanted to make the audience a promise that… though I’m super excited and happy and fulfilled by the conflict of Batman and Superman, there’s also a bigger world to start to think about.”
