The highly anticipated “Batman V Superman” was enjoyed by a large audience across the globe, but there is no denying that the movie left us with some burning questions.

One such question left unanswered towards the end, revolved around “the exact nature and circumstances of the death” of Batman’s sidekick, Robin, as noted by ScreenRant. The question has taken all the more precedence since rumours about a Batman solo movie have begun to surface.

The word on the street suggests that Ben Affleck’s Batman will again be gracing the silver screen. And this time, around, the movie could well be based on Affleck’s version since rumours reveal, he has a script at hand and may also be taking on the director’s chair. The movie may probably answer our questions since a second Robin is expected to make an appearance. But it cannot be said whether we will witness Jason Todd as Red Hood or Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing takes on the role.

In a video put up by IGN, fans can see “Batman V Superman” director Zack Snyder confirm that the Robin lineage will receive its right share of screen-time. Snyder also revealed that Bruce Wayne isn’t over Robin’s murder which took place over a decade ago before the events in  “Batman V Superman.” Furthermore, Affleck and Henry Cavill throwing more light on Robin’s death revealed that Wayne’s line in the movie had more to with the tragedy: “Maybe it’s the Gotham City in me, we just have a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns.”

The life-altering incident in Wayne’s life, of losing Robin, that took place ten years ago is the direct result of his run-in with the younger Joker, that we will get to witness in “Suicide Squad.”

“Suicide Squad” will hit theaters on August 5, 2016, and we are certain everyone is counting down days to the premiere.
