Singing sensation Rihanna is going to play Marion Crane in Bates Motel Season 5. While the show is loosely based on the 59’s classic Psycho, the TV series has made some modifications to the plot. There are speculations that the modern version of the story will feature Marion Crane’s death in a completely different way. Is Riri prepared for Marion Crane’s disturbing death scene?

How is Marion Crane going to die?

If we consider the original version of the story written by Robert Bloch back in 1959, Marion Crane died in a very brutal way. She was beheaded by Norman. However, in the movie, which came a year later, director Alfred Hitchcock gave things a new direction. He showed Marion Crane was murdered by Norman, who stabbed her many times. This indeed was a less brutal variation of the Psycho story.

Bates Motel is a television series, so chances are high that the degree of brutality might be lesser. Marion Crane is more likely to meet her last in a less painful manner.  However, if we take Norman’s changing behavior into account, it is really tough to predict anything about the story in Season 5.

In the last four seasons of this thriller drama, he has changed drastically. He is no longer a troubled kid. Today, Norman (Freddie Highmore) is an unpredictable and dangerous guy. He can go to any extent to satisfy his psychic urges.  Therefore, we can expect in Bates Motel Season 5 that Marion Crane will die in a very brutal manner (as mentioned in Bloch’s plot).

How will Riri’s Marion Crane die? Will she have a painful ending in the hands of Norman? Rihanna’s cameo in Bates Motel Season 5 would add a lot of oomph factor, and her murder will make things more thrilling.  Although the 28–year-old remains tight-lipped on the matter, she might have to steel herself for an unpleasant ending (of Marion Crane) on Bates Motel Season 5, according to Gamenguide.

The creator, showrunners and cast are keeping things under wraps until Bates Motel Season 5 returns in 2017 on the A&E Network.
