“The Bachelor 2016” is moving to a new mansion this 2016 and a million-dollar one at that. Will Richie Strahan and his new ladies enjoy the new not-so humble abode?

After three successful seasons, The Bachelor 2016 Australia is moving to a new home, close to an hour drive away from its previous set in Sydney’s central business district. The show will be settling in at Glenorie, a semi-rural suburb in NSW.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the new home boasts of a swimming pool, a tennis court and two hectares of “sprawling grounds.” It’s no downgrade from the “The Bachelor Australia” mansion as well as the new one is priced at a whopping $1 million.

Built in 1983, the Glenorie home offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two car parks. Pool side couches are also visible in the aerial photos, perfect for sweet dates of the bachelor and bachelorettes.

Currently not for sale, the property has a land size of 20,248 square meters, OntheHouse.com.au reveals. Average home prices in the suburb sell for $1.05 million with a median rent of $585 per week. It was not revealed how much the producers of the dating show will be paying for filming rent.

It was earlier revealed that former “The Bachelorette Australia” contestant Richie Strahan will be the next bachelor to look for love on the show. Many rumors circulated that co-bachelor and former pro footballer, Michael Turnbull, will be handing out the roses this season, but speculations were dismissed.

Strahan will be the first to film in the new mansion and may benefit from the change in setting as previous seasons have been a little lackluster in excitement and controversy.

“The Bachelor Australia 2016” will be airing on Channel Ten soon.
