According to reports making their rounds across the Internet, Kelly Osbourne may be alienating her staff with a bunch of shenanigans, including “no gum chewing” around Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter.
The “Australia’s Got Talent” judge reportedly got her staff “walking on eggshells,” because aside from how they were reportedly banned from chewing gum around her as “the sound annoys her,” Osbourne also demands constant makeup retouches. Over and above that, the star has also posted a sign on her door saying “Do Not Disturb.” The call to stay a whole mile away from the diva as a form or respect can’t get louder than that.
In other news, Kelly Osbourne was also reported to have had “a meltdown” when a member of the audience started beatboxing. As soon as the beatboxing started, she reportedly let out a string of “mouth noises,” most likely expletives, and “stuck her fingers in her ears.”
Perez Hilton was quick to point out that this new buzz around her is just an echo of the star’s wilder past. Back in the day, Kelly Osbourne was branded by Rolling Stone as “a wickedly funny, brutally honest, pint-size, potty-mouthed spitfire.”
In other news, the rest of the star’s activities painted a different picture of her. She has gushed about her friendship with fellow “Australia’s Got Talent judge” Sophie Monk, and also had nothing but enthusiasm for Australia’s talent pool:
“Australia’s Got Talent had been amazing. […] I have been blown away by the talent in this country and I’m so honoured to be a part of it,” said Osbourne. On fellow judge Sophie Monk, she has great things to say. “It’s so nice to work with a woman who is not competitive, we just have so much fun. You have no idea.”
Aside from her enthusiasm about the show and her fellow judge, positive news about the diva involved a visit to the Sydney’s Children’s Hospital. The star talked about her mom Sharon Osbourne’s bout with cancer, and why doing the rounds was significant to her.
On her experience with the sick children, Osbourne had this to say: “I lived at the hospital with my Mum, and it’s really true that a simple smile can change your day. It was such a beautiful experience, we all just had the best time. We met some really special children, I almost feel selfish because I want to go back — I feel so good now!”
Whether the reports about her diva attitude and behaviour are true or not, one thing is clear: Kelly Osbourne and her lilac-coloured hair are having fun Down Under, and it looks like she’ll stay in the limelight for a while.
