Arsenal host West Bromwich Albion in their English Premier League campaign at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, April 21, starting 7:45 p.m. local time.
Premier league title hopes “all but ended” for Arsenal as they drew with West Ham United and Crystal Palace in their last two matches, notes the official EPL website. They are now 13 points “off-place” in the fourth place with five more matches to go. Tottenham Hotspur has been closing in on the table toppers Leicester City with consecutive victories.
Baggies captain Darren Fletcher remains optimistic of their chances at Emirates. Last time the two teams met was in November, last year, where Arsenal lost to West Brom 2-1.

“We’ve really raised our game and performed well. There’s no doubt it suits our counter-attacking style,” he added. “The bigger games suit that because there’s not so much of an emphasis on you with the ball. But at the same time you have to be better on the ball like we were against Manchester City.
“There are opportunities for you if you do play and are brave enough to retain the ball and get three or four passes up. It’s amazing how quickly the pitch opens up. We know how difficult these games will be, but we go into them with no fear.”
As per the BBC reports, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger talks about the last five remaining matches in the league. He says, “The season is far from over. It depends on who you play and the commitment you face.
“Against West Ham and Crystal Palace we were not efficient enough. That is a regret. It’s my job to get the team 100% ready.
“Every time it doesn’t work you question yourself, it is part of the job. In the end, it is always down to me and I stand up to that.”
