Ariana Grande allegedly slams Fifth Harmony by “mocking” their hits. The “Dangerous Woman” had a TV appearance on the recent episode of “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
Harmonizers and Arianators, relax because the brunette was just lip syncing some of the group’s songs, as well as hits from other artists like N*Sync, Zayn, and Mike Posner, reports Fuse. The former SNL host visited Jimmy Fallon’s show on Monday night.
As what the website notes, Grande “will do anything for the comedic payoff.” As a result, Grande and host mouthed the words to “today’s hits” for “the sake of a few laughs.”
Meanwhile, the website also reported that Fifth Harmony rescheduled the release of their sophomore album “7/27” for a week back. It has been reported earlier that both 5H and Grande will be releasing their new efforts on May 20.
The same day album debut might be a showdown, but Fifth Harmony might have decided to give way by pushing it back a week from the original schedule. So far, their newest single “Work From Home” was already at the ninth spot.
And for that, “7/27” might be at the top should their fan base persevere to campaign the new album. On the other hand, Grande’s new songs “My Everything” and “Yours Truly,” climbed straight to No. 1.
Moreover, her current single, “Dangerous Woman,” is now infiltrating the Billboard Hot 100. But the showdown between them might cool down given the news.
As for the “Dangerous Woman” tracklist, some of the songs are already available on iTunes while others remain “explicit.” Why “Dangerous Woman?” The singer revealed in one of her Snapchat videos that the album title was supposed to be “Moonlight.”
“’Moonlight‘ is a lovely song and it’s a lovely title,” she said. “It’s really romantic, and it definitely ties together, the old music and the new music, but ‘Dangerous Woman’ is a lot stronger. I want to be empowering my fans,” as quoted from a previous article.
