The exit of Howard Stern from “America’s Got Talent” might have saddened viewers. Although Simon Cowell readily stepped up to the plate to fill the void, are the other judges happy about it?

“Well they are two completely different people, like me and Heidi [Klum] are different people,” Mel B. told HollywoodLife. The former Spice Girl weighed in on her colleagues’ similar traits that viewers would certainly appreciate in “America’s Got Talent” season 11.

“I think that what I can say about Howard and Simon is that they both have great integrity, they really care about the acts, they really care about the show… and they want to get the best out of people and create TV with special moments. They have great work ethic and they know how to spot talent!” Mel B. revealed.

Cowell certainly knows how to spot talent given his experiences on “American Idol” and “The X Factor” America, Buddy TV noted. His comments and “most eloquent points” often target musical acts, the publication wrote. Indeed, his latest prediction about Grace VanderWaal could very well be the highpoint of “America’s Got Talent.”

However, the competition isn’t over as another musical act’s audition scored four yeses from the judges, Gossip Cop reported. The four-woman group from Philadelphia who dream to be “American Spice Girls” are huge fans of Mel B. Moreover, they’re all about “bringing girl power back,” the publication quoted. Their perfect harmonies hit a chord with audiences who stood up and danced as they sang “Don’t Let Go” by En Vogue. Simon Cowell pointed to Mel B. for her thoughts on Good Girl.

“I have to say, I haven’t seen a girl band that is already that tight in a very, very long time. That was flawless. I thoroughly enjoyed it!” Mel B. said. Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel shared her opinion of the girls. Predictably, Simon Cowell had a slightly different idea although he did leave Good Girl with some positive encouragement.

“I like you, girls. I think it is a little bit copycat — I mean this in a really positive way. There is a gap in the market for a band like you right now. But you’ve got to do something a little more quirky… because you’re good singers. This is exciting,” Cowell said. He later admitted to Mandel that he loved the group’s a capella towards the end of the song, which likely gave him the “surprise factor” that “America’s Got Talent” has to offer.
