“American Horror Story” is set to return with a whole new season later this year. Where would Season 6 be set this time? The show has done almost everything from a haunted house to a hotel. Did the last season’s star Finn Wittrock accidentally let slip what the theme is for next season?

In an interview with TV Series Finale, Wittrock did not reveal the setting for next season. However, the actor did drop a lot of subtle hints. “I have heard it is going to be a little tighter,” he said. “There were so many story lines in the last one and it was so big and epic, I have a feeling it might be a little more claustrophobic. A smaller cast…I think they literally keep us in the dark so we can’t spill the beans even if we wanted to. I’ve heard lots of different rumours about it, but even last year, I didn’t know about ‘Hotel’ until a few months before we started. I know that they are actively writing it right now. They are still figuring out what to do.”

What does the actor mean by “tighter” and “more claustrophobic?” Will this be the theme for next season? No word as of yet to confirm this. Stay tuned for updates.

Meanwhile, Inquisitr suggests that the sixth season will focus more on tying up loose ends from past seasons. “Ryan Murphy has said that all American Horror Story seasons are connected. It is possible that Season 6 will spend time answering a few questions left open from previous seasons,” Inquisitr said. “There will also be more time to show how characters are intertwined together. It is possible that this season will connect more of the seasons together, showing how characters from previous seasons have interacted with the current season characters.”
