After fives seasons on “American Horror Story,” will fans see actress Sarah Paulson on the show’s sixth season? The answer is still unknown yet reports confirmed her return on another season of FX anthology series, “American Crime Story.”

“I would be more excited than almost anything to have a crack at something else with this same creative team,” she told Deadline. Her role on “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” as prosecutor Marcia Clark got “rave reviews.”

Paulson previously told People Magazine on how she hoped for the show to take things slowly.

“When we were shooting it, I kept saying, ‘Why aren’t we doing this for 5 years? Why don’t we just slow everything down,” she says. “But no one seemed to share that idea. When we reached the finale, I was not ready to be done playing Marcia at all,” she revealed. This could have also hinted her interest in another season of “American Crime Story.”

Now, Sarah Paulson will be part of the second season which will tackle the Hurricane Katrina Story.

“For me, the idea of treating Katrina as an American Crime Story is incredibly resonant, powerful and accurate. The Katrina story, to me, is a literal American crime. It says something about a uniquely American attitude, and I find it incredibly potent. I’ve begged them, and there have been some conversations,” Paulson admitted. With her new role, will she unlikely return on “American Horror Story” Season 6? Last month, Enstarz reported Paulson is welcome to come back but Murphy has yet to officially confirm her appearance this season. As a long-time actress on the show, Paulson admitted that she’s willing to do anything for the fans.

When asked if there was a particular role “that would cross the line for her,” Paulson claimed there was none. “I’ve done a lot of crazy s- on [American Horror Story]. I’ve breast-fed a 35-year-old. I’ve had two heads. So, there’s really nowhere you go, ‘I will not do that,'” she added.

So far, fans know that the upcoming season of AHS will deal with two time periods. Although Ryan Murphy refuse to give more details, there are speculations that they might be “building upon the AHS mythology.”
