Actress Emma Roberts has teased her return in American Horror Story Season 6.
During the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 panel of Scream Queens, Roberts teased that she would be returning to AHS.
“I think that there might be — I was going to last season. I would love to go back and do a few episodes,” she told the audience when asked if she will appear in Season six.
Roberts portrayed Madison Montgomery in the American Horror Story: Coven. She came back in Season 4’s American Story Horror: Freak Show and played the role of Maggie Esmerelda. In Scream Queens, she played Chanel Oberlin. AHS creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are also the brains behind Scream Queens.
The FX anthology series has been known for bringing back actors from previous seasons, US Weekly noted.
Lady Gaga, who starred in AHS: Hotel, has confirmed her return in Season 6. Other returning cast members are Angela Bassett, Denis O’Hare and Kathy Bates. All of these stars appeared in at least one season. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who both appeared in five seasons of AHS, are also coming back.
As per AHS’ Season 6 theme, it remains a closely guarded secret except from a vague clue that it is about innocent children. Murphy, however, previously mentioned two ideas that they are considering for Season six. He did not disclose any details of the second idea. Murphy teased that this has never been done before in the show.
However, the FX hit show has hinted about the other theme that Murphy was probably talking about.
In the show’s Fearless VR Experience at the recent San Diego Comic-Con 2016, American Horror Story released a short video. The clip featured a gurney being wheeled into a morgue that stores some fetuses in jars and several mad scientist accessories.
Clearly, this has something to do with what Murphy declared earlier that American Horror Story Season 6 is about innocent children. Did the video also give out some clues for the second idea he was talking about? Let’s all find out when American Horror Story Season 6 kicks off on September 14 at 10 p.m. ET on Fox.
