The “American Crime Story” season one, which is centered on “The People v. O.J. Simpson” trial, is near its conclusion and everyone is thrilled to tune into its finale.

TV Guide provided a synopsis for episode 10 which reads: “In the season finale, the prosecution and defense make their closing statements; the jurors deliberate; and the verdict is given.” The episode, which will be aired tonight (Apr 5), is directed by “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy.

Bustle noted that “The People Vs. O.J. Simpson” is not just a series based on the speculation or over-dramatization of real events. The writers of the show based it on the book “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” which is one of the most highly regarded books about the Simpson trial.

The International Business Times wrote in recent episode nine, titled “Manna From Heaven,” the issue of racism in the LAPD was also tackled.  Johnnie Cochran (Courtney Vance) was also heard saying in the previous episode: “This is what black people have always known and now it’s right here.” In this episode, the defense attorney also attacked LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman and said that the cop committed perjury.
