It appears that “The Amazing Race” fan favourites, Tyler Oakley and his best friend Korey Kuhl, may not be the winners of the one million dollar (about AU$1.3 million) prize at the conclusion of season 28. Tyler Oakley posted a new video log on his YouTube channel titled “Did We Win A Million Dollars?!” where the two friends discussed if they would go back to “The Amazing Race” if asked. This might mean that they did not win and would like to have another go.

In the video log as noted by Enstars, author and activist Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl answered a bunch of fan questions regarding their experiences while competing in “The Amazing Race” alongside the couple-team of Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina and the mother and son duo Sheri and Cole LaBrant. One of the fans asked, “Would y’all go back for another game if they asked you to?” Oakley and Kuhl said “Yeah!” in unison.

“The hardest thing at first was thinking, ‘how could we get away for a month?’ Now we’re like, if they asked us tomorrow, we would drop everything and go tomorrow,” Tyler Oakley said. “I think that’s the same with anyone who’s ever been on the show. We would go back in a heartbeat,” Kuhl then added. “So, call us,” Oakley joked. Watch the video below.

The fact that they want to “go back in a heartbeat” means they probably did not win this time. It may also mean that they simply loved being a part of the entire experience and would like to repeat it again. One fan asked, “After being on TAR, what life lessons have you taken that you will pass down to your kids?” Kuhl said, “Never give up on something!” This could definitely be a reference to a defeat they faced on the show and wanting to compete again.

As for Tyler Oakley, he said that his message to his future kids and all kids who are dependent on technology would be the “freedom to unplug.” This comment again shows that the two friends really enjoyed all that adventure and exploration that does not happen sitting in front of a computer or spending one’s time on cell phones and social media.

Enstars also points out that past teams have been asked back to the show, but those teams never won the competition. So, what do you think? Will Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl win, or did they lose? Would you like to see them take part in the show again? Comment below.
