Football fans are going crazy and excited for the AFL Grand Final Parade. the event will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 in Melbourne. The day of the 120th season Grand Final Parade has also been declared as public holiday. AFL is the most highly attended spectator sport in Australia, and one of the top five best attended leagues world-wide.

The AFL Grand Final Parade event lets people have the chance to see their favorite players who will be competing in the grand final. More than 100, 000 fans are expected to turn up and witness the parade.

“We’re still saying people should take some wet weather gear with them because there is a chance there will be a shower during the parade,” said forecaster, Beren Bradshaw of the Bureau of Meteorology. He spoke in an interview shared by The Age. Fans are reminded to take some protective gear with them in case the skies open up.

However, if fans decide not to risk gettng drenched in a downpour, they can enjoy great sports action using their standard or HD TV. There are also live internet and mobile streaming services available in the convenience of their home.
