Adele played fairy godmother once again during her “25” concert date in Glasgow, and she gifted him a memory of a lifetime. She also revealed about “squeezing her” et al.
The songstress brought a superfan on stage last Friday, the Mirror reported. “I promised myself if I got to meet Adele, I’d bring a pen, and I would get her to sign my boob because I’ll get it tattooed in the morning,” Douglas revealed to the crowd at the SSE Hydro arena.
“That’s outrageous! Oh my god, you’ve got your breast out!” Adele exclaimed as Douglas lifted his shirt. “I wish you were straight, no one’s squeezed me like that for years!” the songstress teased.
Her “25” concert tour has been filled with surprises for fans since it began. On her first night, she helped a female Irish fan propose on leap year. She also went out of her way to cheer up a sick fan in Belfast.
During her Dublin concert, Adele invited two fans to share the stage with her. Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy posted a medley of her songs on YouTube. It went viral.
However, another incident took place during the Glasgow concert. It was rather unfortunate as a loose chain fell on a fan in attendance.
“A chain belonging to the production came down and hit one person who was taken to hospital as a precaution. We are liaising with the production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at this stage.” The Daily Record reported the official statement from an SSE Hydro arena spokesperson.
The venue has a capacity of 13,000. The show on March 25 is the first of two shows at the arena for Adele.
I'm so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It's being investigated to ensure it won't happen again. X
