It’s only a week left before Adele officially drops her latest album, “25.” So, what’s next for the British singer? According to reports, she is heading on to the big screen for her acting debut.

Screen Daily reported that Adele is currently discussing with Canadian director Xavier Dolan her next project. Dolan is the person behind Adele’s acting performance in the music video of “Hello.” The music video of her epic comeback song got a hundred million views five days after its release.

Next year, Dolan is set to debut his upcoming film, “The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan.”

In an interview with Kiss FM, Adele admitted that Labrinth’s song “Jealous” helped her cry on the “Hello” music video. Aside from songwriting and singing, the singer revealed that she would love to try acting. She said that she wants to work again with Director Dolan.

“I’ll get some flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier. I would be in a film for him definitely,” Adele said. She mentioned that Dolan is amazing and that his movies are “incredible.”

Dolan’s upcoming film is about an American movie star who exchanged correspondences with an 11-year-old actor. Because their correspondences were made known to the public, the movie star’s career is at stake.

E! Online reported that Kit Harrington (who plays Jon Snow in “Game of Thrones”) will be the movie star while Jessica Chastain will be a gossip magazine editor. Kathy Bates and Susan Sarandon will also star in the film. Meanwhile, Adele shall have a supporting role.

She may be a newbie in acting but this isn’t her first time in the film business. In 2013, the British Singer won an Academy Award for singing the theme song of the Bond film “Skyfall.”

After her three-year hiatus, it looks like Adele is prepared for bigger things.
