Spiderman Homecoming star Tom Holland has made a revelation about the upcoming Avengers 3 movie but it might not be good news for fans.
Holland has wrapped up the filming of his standalone movie in New York. The production of Spiderman Homecoming is set to start filming in Atlanta soon. Several other Marvel movies are currently in production in the city including the Avengers: Infinity War.
Holland, however, revealed that it is still unclear if he will be in the third installment of the Avengers franchise. “It’s all up in the air. I believe some sort of deal is in the mix, but I’m unclear as to what that deal is,” Holland told Variety.
Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man) earlier hinted that Holland might appear in Avengers 3 movie.
RDJ has confirmed that he will join the Spiderman Homecoming. Marisa Tomei will also reprise her role as Aunt May. Other cast members include Zendaya (Michelle), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) and Michael Keaton, the villain Vulture. Another villain, Shocker, is also expected to appear in the movie.
Meanwhile, Holland also addressed the issue of his snug-fitting Spidey costume. He admitted that the suit is not the greatest thing in playing the iconic superhero. Holland said whenever he is uncomfortable with the costume, he reminds himself that there is a long list of actors who would love to be in his position and he is lucky for having been given the chance to play Spiderman. The Lost City of Z actor added that although the suit is not very comfortable, he still did some of the stunts himself.
Holland earlier issued a stunt challenge to fellow Marvel star Chris Hemsworth.
Both Spiderman Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War are part of the Marvel Phase 3 lineup. There have been speculations that Iron Man will die in the Infinity War movie.
