While fans are eagerly waiting for some updates about the Eminem new album, the latest buzz says his second movie is already on the cards.  If it is real, then the rapper might consider focusing on movie work.  Would this push the release date of his next album to 2017?

The first movie of Eminem 8 Mile came in 2002. Even though Em’s appearance in the movie was very little, it was considered a milestone in his career. It earned Eminem an Academy Award for Best Original Song for Lose Yourself from the soundtrack of the movie.  Recently, the rapper’s former bodyguard Byron Big Naz Williams revealed that Eminem is all set to be featured in his second film.

According to reports, Big Naz said Eminem’s next movie includes Ron Howard and Danny DeVito.  He even claimed the movie follows the plot of his book Shady Bizzness: Life as Marshall Mathers’ Bodyguard in an Industry of Paper Gangsters. The book was released on Aug. 31, 2000. He further conveyed 8 Mile was supposed to be about Shady Bizzness. The book describes the time Big Naz spent with Eminem.

In his words: “I’m waiting for the ink to be signed.  And this is the closest that I have ever been.”

He also claimed DeVito reached out to him and Howard. Does that indicate Eminem’s second movie production work  starts soon? Will it come into the picture much earlier than the Eminem new album?

8 Mile followed a story set in 1995 of a young white rapper named Jimmy B-Rabbit Smith Jr. (Eminem). Living in a mobile home park in Warren, Michigan, B-Rabbit wants to make a  successful career in rapping despite his black rapper opponents.

The die-hard fans who have been waiting for his ninth album with bated breath might be a little disappointed by now. The good news is, so far, there has been no word from Eminem on his second movie.   Hopefully, we can still hear some positive updates about the Eminem new album release in the near future.
