The Australian band 5SOS voices out their opinion about American politics. Drummer Ashton Irwin has something to say about presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The United States presidential election has been conquering local and international news. Donald Trump creates polarity among the people because of his fearless remarks about certain issues.

Meanwhile, the Democratic National Convention continued in Philadelphia on July 25. The event reveals that First Lady Michelle Obama and Bernie Sanders endorsed Hilary Clinton as their presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, Irwin took the opportunity by implying that if united, artists can have a more powerful voice than politicians. Unreality TV was able to quote him as saying:

“Musicians, entertainers, people, holding the truth in their hearts have bigger social media/people power then these politicians: remember that. WE are the ones with the voice now, you gotta vote, you gotta step up. Express what you know is right.”

Amidst their busy schedule, it appears that 5SOS members are also aware of what is happening in the presidential race.  The Aussie band is currently in the United States for the third leg of their Sounds Live Feels Live tour.

Aside from that, the boys also commemorated the 4th of July celebration by putting a pre-recorded video of their event in Uncasville to show at the event.

Notably, the band has been on tour since February. They kicked off their second headliner concert in Japan. Then, they continued the second leg in Europe.

After touring in the United States, the boys will be travelling to Mexico. They will wrap up the eight-month long event in Australia.

In the meantime, those who would like to witness their performance may take a look at the dates and venues below. Meanwhile, other information such as tickets can be found on the 5SOS Live website.
