The Zayn Malik Gigi Hadid relationship is apparently in its most secure place right now as they finally found someone with the same interest for the first time.
Hadid subtly threw shade on her former boyfriend and Malik’s ex. She claimed that this is the first time for her and the former One Direction singer to date someone with similar interest outside work.
In an ES magazine interview with the model, Hadid was asked what attracted her most to Malik. “I would say his brain. For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important,” she replied.
Hadid dated Joe Jonas in the past. The former One Direction singer, on the other hand, got engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Hadid’s recent statement came following reports of the Zayn Malik Gigi Hadid split.
This week’s issue of ES Magazine with Hadid’s full interview will hit newsstands on Thursday (Sept 16).
Meanwhile, Malik is expected to make some huge revelations about his relationship with Edwards in his upcoming autobiography.
Malik and Edwards met in the X-Factor UK in 2011. A year later, they confirmed their relationship. In 2013, the couple got engaged. However, the plan to tie the knot was called off in August 2015 following reports that Malik cheated on Edwards.
Apparently, Malik will tell the story of his life in a no-holds-barred autobiography titled Zayn. Little Mix, on the other hand, has revealed recently that Edwards will sing about her split from the Pillowtalk singer in their upcoming album.
According to Rolling Stone, Zayn will detail Malik’s childhood in England. His rise to fame – from being a contestant on X-Factor to becoming a 1D singer – is also among the highlights of the book. The Mind of Mine hitmaker will also tell the story of his quest as a solo artist.

Malik is also set to do the new NBC series Boys, which will be based on his experiences with 1D.
