It’s been six years since Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were a couple. Since then, they’ve both moved on with their respective careers and romances. However, has Efron’s recent breakup made him realise that he wants her back?
It appears like Zac Efron is showing interest in Vanessa Hudgens once again, HollywoodLife revealed as it cited a report from OK! Magazine. The “Baywatch” star has apparently made “sappy calls” to Hudgens in a bid to win her back. His alleged attempt to reach out to Hudgens comes after his publicised breakup from Sam Miro. The split was difficult for the Hollywood heartthrob. An insider told HollywoodLife exclusively that his busy film schedule took its toll on his relationship with Miro.
“Zac is finally getting to a place in Hollywood where he wants to be. With big tent-poles like Baywatch and Neighbors 2 coming down the line, he can now start picking roles that get him to a different place in Hollywood … all of this totally took a toll on his relationship with Sam. He was moving forward in his career and focusing everything on that and the relationship took the hit,” the source said.
However, there’s a hitch in his supposed plan as Vanessa Hudgens is presently in a relationship with Austin Butler. By the looks of it, the couple is going strong. They started dating in 2011, ET Online wrote earlier. Butler is reportedly annoyed by Efron’s “sappy phone calls” and he’s told Hudgens to stop picking up.
“Zac is getting in the middle [of their relationship]. And Austin’s sure that’s exactly what Zac wants,” a source told OK!.
Fans might want to see Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens reunite. However, it would be terrible for her and Butler as they are good for each other, J-14 remarked. On the other hand, Efron and Hudgens had amazing chemistry on screen that it eventually sparked their off-screen romance. Fans witnessed their relationship bloom and many couldn’t get over the reality of their breakup. When news of “High School Musical 4” broke out, many anticipated their possible return to the TV movie. However, it remains to be seen if that will push through.
