Fans are awaiting more details about the next Yeezy Boost 350 release. While both Kanye West and Adidas have yet to confirm the specifics of the next release, new reports claiming that a new line of Yeezys for babies is coming recently surfaced.
As Cosmopolitan UK reported, baby Yeezys have already been green lit and is reportedly going into production. Perhaps the most reliable source, Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian, has already shared that the new Yeezy Boost 350 release for babies will happen in a few months.
“You guys, baby Yeezys are gonna be launched in August. The black ones and the original blue-and-cream mix,” the reality TV star said in a new episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Although the release date is yet to be confirmed, sources are starting to speculate that the new line will retail for AU$167 or US$122.
The first pair of the baby Yeezys were first seen when Kanye and Kim’s second child, Saint West, was snapped wearing the sneakers over the Easter weekend. This has raised rumours that a few pairs have already been produced, but were only available to an exclusive number of consumers.
“While others have to make do with replicas for their kids for now, it seems the real infant-sized Adidas YEEZY Boost 350 remains exclusive to close friends and family for the moment,” Highsnobiety reported. “But, since Kanye West is working on a kids’ only collection for later this year, you can be sure that there will also be footwear to go along with it.”
Previous reports have also suggested that a Yeezy Boost 350 release that will include a handful of new sneakers from the Yeezy season 3 line is also slated to hit the racks by June.
“As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear collection from Kanye West’s own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016 in select high-end fashion boutiques, specialty stores and online,” a statement from Yeezy President Pete Fox read.
