Following the launch of Xiaomi Mi 5, which was almost three months ago during the Mobile World Congress, the company released its newest phablet called Xiaomi Mi Max.
The new device has gathered many rave reviews from Chinese customers, as more than 10 million people registered for the first flash sale, which was conducted on May 17.
For some reason, the company is not selling the Mi Max overseas, although Xiaomi’s products are quite competitive. There are a lot of potential customers outside China, and sensing this, the Chinese company is planning to sell handsets for international customers. The device will be available for pre-order through GearBest, as per Android Geeks.
GearBest is a third-party online electronics store that offers the Mi Max handsets for international customers. The retailer is rolling out all three models of Xiaomi Mi Max with different price tags.

Customers can buy 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models through the online retailer, and these will be sold at $326, $360 and $500, respectively. The 32GB model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 coupled with 3GB of RAM while the 64GB model sports a Snapdragon 652 paired with 3GB of RAM. The most powerful version, the 128GB model of Mi Max, carries Snapdragon 652 with 4GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Max is sold at a much cheaper rate in China as compared to its international prices. In China, the three models of the handset are sold for $230, $261 and $307, respectively.
Apart from the processor, RAM and storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max sports a 6.44-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. The smartphone has a 16MP PDAF shooter placed at the back of the device. It also has a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video calls. The device runs on MIUI 8 user interface and has capacitive buttons on the device, which is standard on Xiaomi devices. However, Xiaomi Mi 5 lacks it. A LED flash is also provided along with a fingerprint sensor below the primary camera, notes GSM Arena.
