Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro, the premium version of the latest Xiaomi Mi5 flagship, is going to be available soon as it debuts in China. It will come together with other major releases on April 6.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro variant is going to be on sale, according to Android Headlines on April 6, the same day that the rumored Meizu M3 Note device and the Huawei P9 smartphone will be launched.

For Xioami Mi5 Pro’s specifications, the premium variant is going to have more available RAM and storage compared to the regular variants of the latest flagship device. The upcoming device is packed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in internal storage. This is bigger compared to the regular Xiaomi Mi5 which only has 3GB of RAM and comes with either a 64GB or 32GB of internal storage capacity. Moreover, the premium variant is sporting a 3D Ceramic body build, which makes it appear more premium and stylish.

In addition to the bigger internal storage and RAM capacities, the Xiaomi Mi5 Pro variant will be running a Snapdragon 820 chipset, although quite different from the standard model since this Pro variant is going to be clocked at a faster speed compared to its previous version.

Aside from the above features, the device will come with similar specs of the standard variant of Xiaomi Mi5. This means that it is going to come in a 5.15-inch display and a 1080p Full HD resolution, including a camera combo of 16 megapixels for the main rear and 4 megapixels for the front rear.

Xiaomi has been reported to give a Mi5 Pro Commemorative Edition that will include its engraved model number on the back, but will only be limited to 2,000 units. The registrations are already open.

Xiaomi Mi5 Pro will be on sale on March 31, according to  Android  and will be sold for $415 or 2,699 Yuan.
