A lot of Xbox 360 games are getting more backward compatibility treatment after the announcement of allowing Xbox One consoles to play Xbox 360 games. This time, five new games are getting a backward compatibility treatment.

Gamespot has the info on the new 360 backward compatible games. According to a tweet from Major Nelson, this latest batch of Xbox 360 compatible games will be more from Xbox Live Arcade games, and these are not AAA games but are still worthy games to play. Below is the list of the new games for the Backward Compatibility of Xbox One.


Altered Beast

A classic Sega Genesis action game ported as an Xbox Live Arcade game. One or two players can transform into powerful beasts that can land devastating attacks against hordes of evil on this side-scrolling beat ‘em up game.

The Cave

A side-scrolling adventure game where you explore a mysterious cave to uncover its secret with tons of puzzles to solve and different characters to use that have their own unique abilities. This is a new twist to adventure games that are used to the point-and-click genre.

Comix Zone

Another classic Sega Genesis game where players will be warped into the world of comics. Tackle against thugs and monsters in a beat ‘em up game with elements of comic books.

Double Dragon: Neon

The classic beat ’em up game gets a reboot treatment as Neon gives the Double Dragon franchise a big visual makeover. Join Billy and Jimmy Lee as they fight against the Skullmageddon to rescue Marian.

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime

An action and adventure game that features the iconic Ghostbuster, the game lets you play with up to 3 friends as the Ghostbusters team in a cooperative gameplay where you capture ghosts that are haunting the neighborhood.
