A new roster of updates is coming to Xbox One this 2016.
The Verge reports that Microsoft is hard at work to address some of the issues that Xbox One users have raised regarding the functions of the platform. According to the website, one of the flaws that users users have complained about is the inability to see who is in a party chat before joining; hence, Microsoft is now resolving this issue.
According to The Verge, Xbox One preview members will be able to receive the update today which will allow them to view party details. Meanwhile, other users can expect the same update some time in the coming weeks.
Aside from functions surrounding party chat, The Verge also reports that Xbox One users can expect the availability of a new Gamerscore leaderboard option. The website details that the leaderboard allows a user to view a comparison of his/her performance compared to that gamer’s Xbox Live friends.
Meanwhile, Engadget reports that another update, coming this February, will give users a smarter home screen. The website discusses that this update will allow players to update their activity feeds as well as rearrange pins on their home screen.
On another note, more perks await Xbox One users since they can get more than the updates that Microsoft has in store.
