With a few months to go before “X-Men Apocalypse” hits theatres, it appears that director Bryan Singer has returned on sets with his crew. And he has shared bits of the experience with his fans.
Singer took to his Instagram account and shared a video to give fans a neat behind-the-scenes experience. And naturally so, ardent fans dissected every bit of information they gathered through the clip to make sense of where and how everything fits in. As reported by CinemaBlend, the clip features a ship facing a ferocious storm with heavy rains, lightning and the howling winds painting a rather gloomy picture. And your guess is as good as ours, but many fans are landing at the conclusion that this may be the work of the mutant Storm, Alexandra Shipp’s incarnation.
Reportedly, Singer shared that there’s “something else” going on too, but obviously he isn’t spilling any details. But it will keep us guessing at what the director and the “X-Men Apocalypse” crew have in store for us when the instalment releases. The clip further pushes the excitement up another notch. As over the previous months, so had any bit of information that has come our way.
Apocalypse wakes up after thousands of years and is aided by Storm portrayed by Alexandra Shipp, Magneto played by Michael Fassbender, Psylocke by Olivia Munn, and Angel played by Ben Hardy. And thank heavens for we have our mutant heroes with Mystique taken on by Jennifer Lawrence, Beast portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, Quicksilver by Evan Peters and Havok played by Lucas Till reprising their roles. While the list of new comers includes Jean Grey taken on by Sophie Turner, Cyclops played by The Sheridan and Jubilee by Lana Condor, amongst other characters who will swoop in to save the day.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is expected to hit theatres on May 27.
