“X Men Apocalypse” has drawn mixed reactions from movie fans. On one hand, everyone’s certainly hyped about the upcoming flick of the franchise. On the other hand, it could be the last appearance of one of its biggest characters.

Director Bryan Singer revealed what fans can expect from Wolverine in “X-Men Apocalypse.” Singer assured fans that his part in the film won’t be a throwaway, Cinemablend reported. Singer revealed a number of secrets from the latest trailer of “X Men Apocalypse.” The director told Empire that Wolverine’s appearance in the film is “not simple.”

“There’s something more pivotal that occurs with that. It hints to a sequence that again fits within the canon of all six movies, and the birth of a new direction. It’s not insignificant, nor is it simply just a throw-in,” Singer added.

Earlier news reports revealed that Hugh Jackman would not appear in the movie. However, the Australian actor teased about the footage in a recent Instagram post. Could it mean that he is in the movie?

“It’s not the only shot you’re gonna see, let’s put it that way,” the director remarked. Singer’s comment on whom the metal claws belonged to wasn’t very helpful. However, it would make fans hopeful nonetheless. Singer also shared secrets about Apocalypse. The director revealed the process to achieve actor Oscar Isaac’s voice while in character.

“We had a bass mic to his right cheek, a bass drum mic to his left cheek, and a normal Sennheiser that records the primary dialogue. I was able to take all those voices and augment them. But this isn’t the final mix. It’s getting closer to how he’s going to sound.”

Perhaps one of the biggest revelations of the final trailer is about Mystique. Vanity Fair noted that Mystique, portrayed by actress Jennifer Lawrence, is now the leader of the teenage mutants.
