‘X-Men Apocalypse’ Movie: New Animated Trailer is Epic! [WATCH]

X-Men Apocalypse

An animated trailer for “X-Men: Apocalypse” which was shared on YouTube is epic and will bring back memories for comic book fans in the ‘90s.

The mashup of the “X-Men: Apocalypse” contains footages from “X-Men: The Animated Series.” The clip was created by Youtuber Philysteak.

Cinema Blend noted that “the biggest takeaway from this entire mashup is how different these Apocalypses look, with the animated one looking massive and muscular like in the comics and the live action one looking more regal.”

Most of X-Men: Apocalypse’s other major characters, such as Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Nightcralwer, were seen in the trailer.

Meanwhile, an official “X-Men: Apocalypse” trailer is expected to be released this weekend before the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” premiere.

The new trailer will reportedly feature actor Oscar Isaac as the Marvel villain Apocalypse.

Isaac said his and director Bryan Singer’s version of the comic book villain will “definitely not going to be everyone’s favorite version of Apocalypse”.

“Depends which comic you are talking about. There’s X-Factor, there’s X-Men, there’s The Age of Apocalypse, there’s the animated series, there’s X-Men: Evolution, so when someone says Apocalypse without referring a comic book, it’s a very general question,” said Isaac told Dead Film when asked what inspired his take on Apocalypse.

“They may want to state which is their Apocalypse first. He’s definitely not going to be everyone’s favourite version of Apocalypse, but he’s my favourite version of Apocalypse,” he added.

X:Men Movie Facebook account shared over the weekend a trailer for the “Apocalypse,” however it is not clear if it is the new one that many is waiting for.

The the sequel to 2014’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and the ninth installment in the X-Men film series also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence.

The “X-Men: Apocalypse” is expected to hit cinemas on May 27, 2016.
