Lauren Murray bid farewell to the British singing competition after facing another sing-off. With Murray voted off the show, will Louisa Johnson be crowned as this season’s grand winner?
According to Mirror, it seemed that Lauren Murray predicted the results of the semi-finals. As she stood with Louisa Johnson moments before the sing-off, some viewers claimed to see Lauren “mouth” the words, “It’s Louisa.”
Lauren Murray faced a sing-off with Che Chesterman after finding themselves in the bottom two. She tearfully sang Rachel Platten’s “Fight song” but Che won the audience in his rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
The “X Factor” mentors chose to keep their acts on the show, Daily Mail wrote. But as the judges’ decision led to a deadlock, the public chose to send home Lauren. Therefore, Che will go up against Reggie ‘N Bollie and Louisa Johnson at the finals next week.
During the semi-finals, it was Louisa Johnson who stole the show with her incredible performances of “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and “The Power of Love.”
As a strong contender from the start, Louisa Johnson has remained a crowd favourite this season. Former “X Factor” judge Louis Walsh admitted that he believes the singer will win the competition.
“I think Louisa is probably the biggest star… She’s kind of Joss Stone. She’ll be the best winner for me, from what I’ve seen, but I think the talent is really good on X Factor this year,” Walsh said.
Sinitta, Simon Cowell’s ex and good friend, also revealed that she thinks Louisa Johnson will be this season’s winner. She said, “I think Louisa is extraordinary and she’s so young. I’m kind of happy whichever way it goes,”
The three acts, namely: Louisa Johnson, Che Chesterman and Reggie ‘N Bollie will head on to the season’s finale at Wembley Arena next week. Do you think Louisa Johnson will emerge as grand winner of “The X Factor” UK this season?
