All-Filipino girl group 4th Impact has definitely made an impact on the “X Factor” UK crowd. Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini admitted that the girls blew them away. Is the group her favourite act?
As reported on Unreality TV, the “X Factor” judge revealed how much she enjoyed working with her mentee, 4th Impact. According to Cheryl, the girls gave her “one of the most memorable memories” on the show this season.
Cheryl told the site,
“I’ve had a lot of moments this year, up and down, emotional moments where people have touched me with how they sing or what they’re singing. I’ve just had a real mixture. But 4th Impact definitely had their wow factor, and blew the judges away.”
When the girls auditioned for the British singing competition, they gave a “massive impression” with their song cover of “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. And when they landed in the Groups Category, Cheryl was excited to work with them. She was already a huge fan from the moment they auditioned, Unreality TV noted.
“We’ve had some real moments this year actually. Literally every time I saw one of my groups, even before I knew I would be mentoring that category, they were exciting,” Cheryl added.
Although the Geordie star lost the girls even before the semi-finals, Cheryl said that 4th Impact provided “one of the best entertainment of the year.” After being voted off the show, the all-Filipino girl group has already performed at Clothes Show and at G.A.Y.
The 4th Impact girls will return on “The X Factor” UK for its Grand Finale at Wembley Arena this coming weekend. They’ll be performing together with fellow acts for a group performance. Top 3 finalists Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson, and Reggie ‘N Bollie will battle for the crown.
After the finals, “X Factor” judge Cheryl is reported to take a break. Together with her husband, she’ll go to France for a month-long holiday.
