The winner of “X Factor” Australia 2015 will be picked this week.
The two-part grand finale of Channel Seven reality singing competition will begin tonight after a very close semi-final live decider last week.
Big T has been voted off following a showdown against Louise Adams Tuesday night. He performed Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy,” while Adams sang “Roxanne” by The Police. The judges’ votes resulted to a deadlock and the elimination went down to the public vote.
The Top 3 going head-to-head for the title this week are: 31-year-old Louise, from Mount Gambier, SA; Cyrus Villanueva, 19, from Wollongong, NSW; and the duo Jess & Matt, both 24, from Sydney, NSW.
Last week, the grand finalists for this season of “X Factor” Australia returned to their respective hometowns.
Jess and Matt traveled back to Sydney’s JMC Music Academy, where they both studied music and fell in love.
“It’s weird to be back, it’s a bit of a blast from the past. It’s where Jess & Matt first met,” Jess told Sydney Confidential.
The duo also performed in Westfield, Liverpool with Guy Sebastian.
Cyrus meanwhile visited his hometown Wollongong to spread the “Cyrus virus,” along with his mentor Chris Isaak.
Villanueva acted as a tour guide for Isaak and shared with the “X Factor” judge what his life was like before joining the show, the International Business Times reported.
Villanueva also held a free concert in Crown Street Mall in Wollongong Central.
Louise, on the other hand, visited Mt. Gambier and mentor James Blunt tagged along with her.
Adams revealed that she is set to sing Adele’s “Someone Like You” in the Grand Finals.
Meanwhile, the Minogue sisters, Kylie and Dannii, will perform in “X Factor” Australia grand finals along with Blunt, Jason Derulo, and Rudimental.
Don’t miss the grand finale tonight (Nov 23) and tomorrow night (Nov 24) at 7:30 pm on Channel Seven.
