It is official now. Roman Reigns will get his rematch against Sheamus at WWE TLC 2015. Reigns’ victory over Dean Ambrose in the main event of Survivor Series helped determine the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. But some victories are short-lived.
According to Fansided, “Reigns’ victory and glory were short-lived as, after Reigns speared Triple H, Sheamus cashed in the Money In The Bank Contract and pinned Roman to win the belt.”
It is not easy for some to gulp down the reality that the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion is Sheamus. Sheamus will be putting his title on the line at the next pay-per-view, as per sources.
“On Monday Night RAW the night after Survivor Series, Reigns interrupted Sheamus and The Authority to say he wants his rematch. He’ll indeed get the rematch, but not until the next pay-per-view in WWE TLC 2015 where the two men will compete in a tables, ladders, and chairs match,” writes Fansided.
Many WWE fans are not happy with the decision and this correctly explains what is going wrong with WWE right now. Fans seem disinterested and WWE should come up with some interesting match cards as soon as possible to win back the fans.
According to the Rolling Stone, even the 2015 Survivor Series never connected with the fans and concluded in a way that cast a pall over the rest of the show – and quite possibly the company, too.
Well, the only good news is that the Royal Rumble is just around the corner and things could change dramatically by then. We might see Sheamus losing his belt to Reign or Amrose or even John Cena for that matter.
Brock Lesnar is all set to join the Rumble in January. The upcoming clashes seem to be interesting and the WWE should make sure that fans aren’t disappointed with them.
