WWE 2K16 Roster: Jim Neidhart, Tag Team Champ Joins Game? Boogeyman, Eva Marie Rumored Too

New wrestlers have been rumored to join “WWE 2K16” and they’re far from who wrestling fans may expect.

After 2K Sports officially announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be gracing the cover of the upcoming video game, rumors of the title’s wrestler list have flooded online. This follows 2K Sports’ confirmation that they will be including over 120 unique wrestlers in the “WWE 2K16” roster, notes Gameranx.

Last week Eva Marie posted a photo of her shooting a video for “2K16”. While it was not confirmed whether the Total Divas star will be a playable character in the game, the photo does reveal that the female wrestler will be featured in the title. Either as part of a video animation or even for the game’s promotions and trailers.

Another Total Divas gave more info about the video game’s roster. Natalya revealed that her father,  former WWF star Jim Neidhart, will be joining the wrestling game, another Gameranx report noted.

Neidhart, also known as “The Anvil”, was a two-time Tag Team Champion with Bret Hart as The Hart Foundation. The fighter was featured in Wrestlemania 2 Battle Royal being one of the last three fighters being tossed out by Andre the Giant.

Over the past years, the wrestler has had personal issues with alcohol, having spent sometime in a treatment facility.

Should Neidhart return as a playable character, it would be nice to have Bret Hart by his side as well.

Another possible addition to the WWE 2K16 roster is the Boogeyman. Known for his intricate and rather scary body paint and for wielding and eating worms in the ring, the Boogeyman could be an interesting addition to the game. While the WWE and 2K have yet to confirm his presence in the game, the Twitter account believed to be the real Boogeyman himself (@realboogey) posted a telling tweet urging fans to “make some noise”.

A post by “WWE 2K16” on its Facebook page also revealed that developers have been body scanned Finn Balor already, so it’s confirmed the superstar will join the roster.

Scanning session of Finn Balor looks like something out of a Science Fiction movie!

Should all these characters make the final “WWE 2K16” roster, the line up proves to offer a unique gaming experience for WWE fans and gamers alike.
