2K Sports has revealed 21 additional wrestling superstars for the upcoming “WWE 2K16”, bringing the total reveals to 77 out of the 120 unique playable characters in the video game. A new WWE entrance video has also been released.
Confirming that it will have the “largest roster ever”, 2K Sports and WWE have been dropping hints about the upcoming video game and who will be making the list of 120 playable wrestlers. This week, IGN revealed 21 more WWE superstars to add to the list, as well as their game photos. The revelation includes some iconic wrestlers, current stars and Divas as well.
The new list includes:
Andre the Giant
John “Bradshaw” Layfield
Randy “Macho Man” Savage
Ravishing Rick Rude
Notably, the site also released a video of the full ring entrance of the Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar.
Another video released by the “WWE 2K16” development team also shows the Championship entrance in the game. The video shows former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler walking down the entrance path to the ring.
We Got This Covered noted that aside from the big roster, the gameplay of the latest installment of “WWE 2K” also got an update.
“With some cool new gameplay additions such as the ability to use the ropes during pinfalls and attack an opponent during their entrance, WWE 2K16 is looking like the game which could turn around the fortunes of the franchise after the mixed reaction to last year’s lackluster effort,” the site noted.
“WWE 2K16” will drop in stores on October 27, 2015 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
