Director Patty Jerkins has assured fans that the Wonder Woman plot is not a mess.

Jerkins spoke up about an anonymous letter purportedly written by a disgruntled ex-Warner Bros. employee. The director stressed that all claims written on the letter about Wonder Woman are entirely false.

The anonymous letter addressed to Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara was published on Pajiba over the weekend. The writer claimed the studio made several mistakes that led to the layoffs in 2014.

The person who wrote the letter blamed Tsujihara for his decision of producing movies that have all flopped. Among the films the writer cited were Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the most recent Suicide Squad. The writer also blamed Justice League director Zack Snyder for the divided response to Batman v Superman. ApparentlySnyder’s unimpressive work has cost people their jobs. The writer then targeted Wonder Woman.

“Maybe Wonder Woman wouldn’t be such a mess. Don’t try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it’s another mess,” the alleged former Warner Bros. employee wrote.

Jenkins hit back in a series of tweets. She assured that no one involved in the Wonder Woman production has called the movie a mess.

The anonymous letter came after David Ayer’s Suicide Squad premiered in theaters worldwide. The latest DC Extended Universe movie has received mostly negative reviews. The film currently garnered $466 million in global box office. However, it has been denied entry in China. This deprived Suicide Squad as much as $100 million in revenue.

Well, we can all see if the Wonder Woman plot is a mess when it hits cinema on June 2, 2017. It stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

After Wonder Woman, Justice League movie follows on November 17, 2017. Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will premiere on July 27, 2018, Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019, Cyborg on April 3, 2020 and Green Lantern Corps in July 2020. The Batman solo movie, Man of Steel 2 and The Flash standalone movie have no official release dates yet.
